Pacific Islands University (PIU) students considering Bible translation as a ministry

Pacific Islands University is the old Pacific Islands Bible College, which used to be in Chuuk state of the FSM, but is now located in Guam. There are about 100 undergraduate students and 3 graduate students. Nico and Pam were asked to speak at the Tuesday morning Chapel – a follow-up visit after Nico’s visit here in March. Since that time the “Unfinished” DVD has been shown to most, if not all, of the student body, so students are becoming familiar with Bible translation work. This time we told about translation work in Kapingamarangi and gave an overview of Bible translation needs from around the world. There were some serious enquiries by students after the meeting.
