(November 2012) From 3-14 November, members of the Pa’umotu translation team on Tahiti got together with advisor Paulus Kieviet to work on the translation of the Psalms. Translator Terey Teariki had made a draft of a good number of Psalms, which now needed a thorough check by the team as a whole. So far, the Pa’umotu people have always read the Psalms in the national language, Tahitian; this is the first time any Psalms are translated in their own language.
Earlier the team finished the Gospels.
